Rain Garden On-Site Demonstration
Monday, August 23, 2021
Stop by anytime between 6:30 – 7:30PM
900 Belmont Ave, Primos/Secane

Where does all the rainwater go? Experiencing issues after a storm? A wet basement? Concerned about all the flooding issues being reported in the news? Yes, flooding is a local issue.

Come see what the Upper Darby Rain Garden Program did for a local homeowner to improve stormwater issues on Belmont Ave in the Primos/Secane section of Upper Darby. Representatives from sponsoring groups and the homeowners will be on site to discuss what stormwater is, why you should care, and what to do about it. They will point out the native plants and shrubs in the garden that can beautify your property and increase property value. The homeowners will share their experience and answer questions. Grant funds are available so that the rain gardens can be installed at reduced cost. Come hear about all the opportunities for local residents!

This is an open house style event, no registration necessary.
