Young Naturalist Introduction to Water Monitoring

We're excited to introduce the basics of water quality monitoring to our youngest watershed stewards! Meet Aurora at Ithan Valley Park to take water samples and measure temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity. Learn why these and other metrics are important in understanding the health of our waterways.

In order to make this event safe for all in attendance, we are limiting registration to 5 families with social distancing and mask wearing required when 6 feet of distancing isn't feasible. Thanks to a donation from EarthEcho International we have enough kits to lend each family their own kit to take measurements.

Please help us keep events like this free. Donations are appreciated but not required.
