Young Naturalist Lunch & Learn with Author Jacqueline Briggs Martin

We are so excited to host author Jacqueline Briggs Martin to share her book Creekfinding, a true story for kids that explains how a lost ecosystem in Iowa was brought back to life! Grab your lunch and log in for a read aloud and discussion about how the book came to be, followed by an informal Q&A session.

Jacqueline Briggs Martin is the author of many other books including Snowflake Bentley, winner of the 1999 Caldecott Medal, and The Lamp, the Ice, and the Boat Called Fish, an ALA Notable Book, a Bulletin Blue Ribbon Book, Riverbank Review Finalist, Notable Social Studies Trade book and winner of The Golden Kite Award for Illustration. To check out all her other work please visit her website at www.jacquelinebriggsmartin.com.
