Help save the habitat of many local and migratory birds. The Darby Creek waterway that runs from John Heinz to the Delaware River is a home or resting place of almost 300 birds, Including the endangered species ; least bittern,yellow-crowned night-heron, common tern , black tern king rail , short-eared owl and loggerhead shrike. Also the home numerous turtles, mammals, and fish. Grab a canoe, kayak or small watercraft and join us on September 14th at 3 location John Heinz, Morton Morton House, or Ridley Marina. More details to follow.

The Darby Creek waterway from John Heinz to the Delaware River is littered with tons of plastic bottles, cans, plastic bags, tires, balls, paper  and other garbage. 

Join DCVA on September 14th and help us clean our waterways. 


Bring out your Canoe , Kayak , small boat and join our efforts. 

Volunteer for an hour or all day, every little bit helps 


Ridley Marina and John Heinz start at 8:00 am- 3:00 


Morton Morton House later start time due to tide access at 12:00 ish ( dock use is dependent on height of tide)
