Haverford Home & Garden Show

           April 15 , 2017

10 am - 6pm

HPED is excited to announce plans for the inaugural Haverford Home & Garden Show, which will be held on Sunday, April 15th, 2018 at the award-winning Community Recreation and Environmental Center (CREC) at Haverford Reserve, 9000 Parkview Drive, Haverford, PA 19041.

The Haverford Home & Garden Show is hosted and organized by Haverford Partnership for Economic Development (HPED).  The show will be a way to connect local businesses and residents at a fun community event, as well as to raise funds for the work of HPED.  The goals of HPED are to support local businesses, promote economic development, enhance the image of Haverford Township, and revitalize our business districts and public spaces.  HPED is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

The Haverford Home & Garden Show will benefit HPED, Haverford Township, local businesses and the community in a variety of ways.  The show will allow us to serve a unique and significant sector of Haverford Township Businesses.  We know residents want to support local businesses, and we want to provide an opportunity for customers and businesses to connect face-to-face.  Vendor spots will first be offered to HPED members and Haverford Township businesses, but we will also include other regional sponsors and businesses.

The Show will include a variety of vendors such as general contractors, plumbers, electricians, roofers, painters, lawn care providers, architects, interior designers, realtors, financial services such as banks, insurance companies, phone and internet services, and businesses that sell home improvement, gardening or landscaping products.

There will be a marketplace where vendors can sell home and garden items such as garden tools, bird houses and bird feeders, fine art, plants, pillows and table linens, candles, antiques and gift items.  Throughout the day, a variety of presentations and classes will be scheduled on topics such as curb appeal, downsizing, container gardening, interior decorating, historic preservation, and green-friendly remodeling.  Make & Take workshops will be offered for visitors who want a hands-on experience.  Projects might include creating a terrarium, rewiring a lamp, making a wreath, canning or grilling techniques, or making a painting to take home.

We expect the show to be a big success, drawing thousands of consumers from Delaware County and the Main Line.  We have an amazing pool of potential customers who would love to attend a home show in their community and to shop local.
